Where you are
VCA is about certifying your organisation, not about the diplomas of your people. The checklist questions sit in the system, and you hang your policy, your procedures and your records underneath.
Most VCA evidence comes from the shop floor: toolbox talks, workplace inspections, last minute risk analyses and reports. You fill those in on your phone and they count straight away.

The difference
The requirements are already there. From day one you have a structure to hang your existing material on.
Every action, audit and inspection you attach to a requirement counts. You do not collect just before the audit.

You may not need this

Combining
That is the rule rather than the exception. VCA is often mentioned in the same breath as ISO 45001 and ISO 9001. In Check HenQ they hang off the same documents and the same processes, so you do the work once and demonstrate it several times.
